Hello!
I abandoned the site almost four years ago after all the AI crap that is rampaging the site a lot, and I think it's still plagued a lot with scam bots. So, as someone who made an account more than 10 years ago and could see how what I once considered a virtual home being turned into this shit, I don't recommend going back to DA. Reading the comments of those who are still brave to stay there, they say it's getting more difficult to find human-made art due to AI that floods the search results, plus some people don't even have the decency to tag properly their stuff.
Compared to Newgrounds, DA is nothing but a pale, shallow and hollow dead vase of what it used to be. With Newgrounds you don't have to deal with algorithm in order to be noticed by others, everything is done by everyone and I mean you have to be active, proactive and interact with the community and soon or later people will notice you and appreciate your creativity, plus you can receive feedback on your works. You can even ask for critiques via forum threads, depending on your expertise (art, music, videogame or movies or even all) and the community is more than willing to help you.
I took a look at the works you posted here and you really have lots of talent that would be wasted on DeviantART honestly, but of course the final word and choice is yours. It really depends on what you want from a website, what you need and what you want to convey with your creations.

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts about the pros and cons of DeviantArt! I’m excited to head back to DA to reconnect with my old artist friends who are still active there. For now, I’ll just turn off the AI option in the settings and keep creating. Looking forward to catching up with everyone!
